Rasmussen College Honors ATI as Partner of Distinction
Leawood, KS (May 8, 2019) — Rasmussen College recently bestowed its third annual Partner of Distinction Award on ATI.
Rasmussen College is a regionally accredited private college offering Certificate and Diploma programs through Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degree programs online and across its 23 Midwest and Florida campuses. It was the leading educator of Professional Nursing Associate’s degree students in the country in 2016 and 2017.
“Our partners at ATI have put our college and our nursing students first, which has had a direct impact on our programs and campuses and has directly contributed to the quality of our students’ experiences and successes,” said Joan Rich, DNP, RN, PHN, FCN, Vice President of Nursing at Rasmussen College. “Together, we can empower and offer innovative nursing education across the nation to help build the future of nursing education.”
Preparing for the 2019 Partner of Distinction selection process, a select committee comprising Rasmussen College leaders selected ATI for the honor based on four specific criterion:
- Works with the college in a collaborative manner
- Responsive to the college’s needs
- Delivers measurable value against mutually defined objectives
- Demonstrates organizational values of customer-first philosophy.
Jaime Fiorucci, ATI’s Chief of Staff/Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, noted that receiving the award “was a testament to the hard work of our entire team, the outcomes we have driven, and our years of history helping them as they grow and scale.” Fiorucci recognized several individuals who had made a significant impact on the partnership between ATI and Rasmussen College, notably:
• Josh Gouchenaur, ATI Client Account Manager Supervisor
• Blaine Hague, ATI Senior Operations Analyst
• Kim Lowe, ATI Strategic Operations Consultant (formerly Product Training Specialist)
• Amy Minnix, ATI Nurse Educator
• Alice Myers, ATI Integration Nurse Educator for Strategic Accounts
• Jodi Rodgers, ATI Director of Operations/Strategic Partnerships
• Emily Stevens, ATI Manager of Operations-Strategic Partnerships.
Since 2014, ATI has partnered with Rasmussen College, which offers three pre-licensure nursing programs and two post-licensure fully online degree offerings
Rasmussen College presented the award to Fiorucci during one of three All-College Summits that took place at different locations across the United States earlier this year. During one of the events, Rasmussen College Chief Executive Officer Tom Slagle noted, “It is rare to find a partner that has the same value structure and who is mission-driven as an organization, and we found that in ATI.”
The college also noted the consistent partnership ATI had delivered, describing how ATI had assisted it in creating a process to use evidence-based practice and data to drive positive nursing student outcomes. The ultimate goal: to increase NCLEX scores and first-time testing pass rates.
“ATI has come to the table with data, analysis, solutions, and suggestions that have only increased over the years,” Rich said.
ATI’s Fiorucci said that Rasmussen College serves an array of students and is committed to diversity and inclusion across its student population. “Rasmussen’s focus on ensuring every student has a pathway to success makes us — honestly — so incredibly proud to be a partner with them. Their faculty and administrators are dedicated, determined, conscientious and, simply, among the highest caliber in the profession.”
She added, “We are so admiring of their ongoing efforts toward building strong, professional nurses of tomorrow. Partners like Rasmussen, in fact, make our jobs that much more rewarding. After all, if we can create products, tools, and solutions that will help them do their jobs better? Make their jobs easier? Those truly are goals worth pursuing.”
