This workshop explores evidence-based best practices for curriculum development/revision to ensure currency and quality of nursing education and provides strategies for organizing curriculum content in a logical structure that facilitates learning and demonstrates progression.
In this workshop our expert consultants will:

- Explore evidence-based best practices for curriculum revision to ensure currency and quality of nursing education.
- Outline strategies for organizing curriculum content into a coherent and logical structure that facilitates learning and demonstrates progression.

This workshop reviews principles of competency-based education and the process for incorporating components of the Essentials into the current curriculum.

- Explain the difference between Competency-Based Curriculum and using competencies in the curriculum
- Describe the components of the Essentials
