DUKE EXPERT EXPLAINS WHY TEACHING CLINICAL JUDGMENT MUST CHANGE TO PREPARE FOR NEXT GEN NCLEX

Leawood, KS (Jan. 4, 2021) — Beth Phillips, PhD, RN, CNE, associate professor in the School of Nursing at Duke University and director of the Institute of Educational Excellence, recently shared some important details about preparing for the Next Generation NCLEX with ATI Nursing Education. 

In an interview filled with details about her journey in understanding the importance of clinical judgment, Dr. Phillips noted that students must develop this skill as soon as possible in preparation for the new version of the licensing exam. Set to launch in April 2023, the test will assess students' clinical judgment skills.
