INDUSTRY BULLETIN: MAINTAINING INCLEX SUCcESS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Leawood, KS (July 15, 2020) — When the pandemic struck, nursing students ready to take their nursing licensure exam were left with cancelled test dates when testing centers nationwide were shut down. The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) knew it was imperative for students to be able to take their exams, however, as the healthcare industry faced an overwhelming need for as many nurses as possible.
ATI has written "Industry Bulletin: Maintaining NCLEX success during the COVID-19 pandemic" to help explain what steps NCSBN took to allow students to test as safely as possible. The paper also explains how the modifications had no negative impact on the regular NCLEX's rigor or difficulty.
Additionally, readers will find information about the shift that ATI nurse educators took to help students prepare for the NCLEX by turning its ATI Live Review program into an all-virtual experience.
The Industry Bulletin is available at no cost.
