TEAS Transcript Credits

Key Details:

  • One credit = one TEAS Transcript submission to an institution or testing center.
  • Credits never expire, so you can use them whenever needed.
  • You can submit your TEAS Transcript(s) after completing your proctored TEAS Exam.

Sending Your TEAS Transcript:

  • TEAS at ATI Exams: Transcripts are available to send to an institution after testing. They remain in “preliminary” status for three business days (excluding weekends and major holidays) from the exam date. When your score is finalized, the “preliminary” watermark is removed.
  • TEAS Online at Institution and TEAS at Institution Exams: Transcripts are automatically sent to the institution after you complete your exam. The “preliminary” status does not apply to exams proctored by an institution.
  • Finalized TEAS Transcripts are sent electronically within two hours of submission.
  • Taken the TEAS more than once? You can choose which exam results to share with each institution.

Managing Your TEAS Transcript Credits:

  • Log into your account at www.atitesting.com/login.
  • Click the RESULTS tab to view your scored TEAS exams.
  • Each exam will display a SEND TRANSCRIPT link for easy submission.

ATI provides the reporting of TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) test results to schools as a convenience for nursing school applicants. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that your school applications and TEAS test results are complete, correctly submitted, and on file with each school.

TEAS Transcript Information

If you are testing via TEAS at ATI or TEAS at PSI, your registration includes one official transcript credit, which you can use to send your transcript to the school of your choice.

Score Availability

  • TEAS at PSI Exams: TEAS scores are typically posted within 72 hours of your exam date and time.
  • TEAS at ATI Exams: Right after you finish testing at TEAS at ATI, your preliminary TEAS score will be available. TEAS scores remain in “preliminary” status for three business days (excluding weekends and major holidays). Once finalized, the “preliminary” watermark will be removed. You can send your transcript electronically at any time.

Viewing Scores & Sending Transcripts

  • Log in to your ATI student account.
  • Navigate to the RESULTS tab.
  • Under PROCTORED ASSESSMENTS, click SEND TRANSCRIPT below your scored proctored TEAS exam to submit your results.
  • Finalized TEAS Transcripts are sent electronically within two hours of submission. You will receive an email when your transcript is sent to the institution.

Sending Transcripts to Multiple Schools

  • If you need to send transcripts to more than one school, you’ll need to purchase additional transcript credits.
  • Each transcript can only be sent once per institution. If your school needs to access your scores again, they can retrieve them through their ATI account as long as they were initially submitted.

TEAS Testing at Institutions

If you take the TEAS at an institution or school testing center (in person or online with remote proctoring), your included transcript is automatically sent to that school or location. You cannot choose a different school for this transcript submission.

Applying to Multiple Schools?

  • If you need to send your TEAS scores to additional schools or a different school than where you tested, you must purchase additional transcripts or transcript credits.

Transcript Resubmissions

  • Each transcript can only be sent to an institution once.
  • If your institution requests your scores again, you will not be able to resend them. However, the institution can retrieve your results from their ATI account if they were initially submitted.
