Description & Objectives:
This session was recorded live at the 2018 ATI National Nurse Educator Summit in Salt Lake City, UT. This session is presented by Michele Steinbeck MNSc, CNE, RN and Judith Dunn EdD(c), MSN, RNC.  1 CNE will be provided upon completion. Attendees must submit a completed evaluation of the educational activity to receive their CNE certificate. Acting on Program Data for Positive Impact is an interactive presentation which conveys the need for generating reliable data permitting consistent, ongoing evaluation of student learning outcomes. Exploration of a process for data evaluation will focus on identifying critical conceptual and content application gaps. Construction of strategic interventions to support learning outcomes attainment will be guided by standardized assessment data and lead to development of targeted interventions.
 
Objective:
  • Understand processes for generation of program data that guide delivery of instruction and direct learning activities which support program outcome achievement.
  • Construct processes to accomplish systematic, data-based evaluation of student learning outcome achievement at the course level.
  • Employ the results of standardized assessments to determine threats to student learning outcome achievement across the curriculum.
