Description & Objectives:
This session was recorded live at the 2018 ATI National Nurse Educator Summit in Salt Lake City, UT. This session is presented by Marilyn H. Oermann PhD, RN, ANEF, FAAN.  4 CNE's will be provided upon completion. Attendees must submit a completed evaluation of the educational activity to receive their CNE certificate.  This workshop will examine the process of writing journal manuscripts, from the idea through the selection of a journal, preparation of the manuscript, and submission of the paper. Participants will learn about the review and editorial processes, and how to respond to peer review. Strategies for avoiding predatory journals will be included. Bring a laptop.
