ATI’s dynamic new Skills Module Series is a self-study approach that rounds out your knowledge and experience in basic nursing skills. By picking a basic nursing skill or skill set – medication administration, for example – and by just navigating with the mouse, you’ll see step-by-step guidelines for each step or procedure, plus "snapshots" of the latest research on the topic, interactive practice challenges to test your critical-thinking abilities, a detailed glossary, an enunciator, and a pretest and a posttest, to name just a few features. It’s a mini-course in the skill – right there on your computer screen any time you need it.
Topics in development include infection control, surgical asepsis, vital signs, physical assessment (adult and pediatric), blood administration, and medication administration – and that’s only a glimpse of what’s in store for you.
